NHS England (NHSE) recruiting patient and public voice roles

NHSE is looking to recruit 5-10 enthusiastic individuals who are committed to addressing and supporting issues faced by communities in regard to access to NHS Dental treatment, including health inequalities.

Those who are successful will become patient and public voice (PPV) partners in the Dental System Reform Patient and Public Group.

The key requirements are:

  • Having an awareness of, and commitment to, equality and diversity.

  • Working creatively and collaboratively and having experience of offering objective challenges.

  • Be able to display sound judgement and objectivity.

  • You will have experience of working in partnership with user-led groups and/or with inclusion health populations and/or with healthcare organisations.

Please note the closing date for Dental System Reform Patient and Public Group applications is 31 January 2023.

NHSE will reimburse reasonable out of pocket expenses in line with the PPV Partners Expenses and Involvement Payments Policy. This post does attract an involvement payment.

NHS England is also inviting applications to become Patient, Carer and Public Voice members of the NHS Assembly.

They are looking to recruit a small number of individuals committed to bringing their experience, knowledge, perspective and challenge into the NHS Assembly’s work, to join an existing small group of Patient, Carer and Public Voice members.

These NHS Assembly roles are ‘Role 4’ positions meaning those appointed can claim involvement fees in line with the NHS England PPV Partner Expenses and Involvement Payments Policy.

The closing date for applications for the NHS Assembly roles is on Friday 10 February 2023
