Youth Focus North East - Access Unlimited (new training dates available)
Youth Focus North East have recently begun working on one of their training packages called Access Unlimited.
They facilitate this training on behalf of the Royal Society of Blind Children, and it is focused around how to work with young people with visual impairments.
This training includes;
- 3 hours worth of teaching via Zoom or Face to Face sessions,
- The participants then have the option to gain an accreditation from SEG and receive a certificate.
They run this session on a 4 weekly basis, offering am and pm sessions via zoom.1st session is 10:30am till 1:30pm, 2nd session is 5pm till 8pm. The dates below are the ones they have arranged at the moment:
- Thursday 16th May
- Thursday 13th June
- Thursday 11th July
- Thursday 8th August
- Thursday 5th September
- Thursday 3rd October
- Thursday 31st October
- Thursday 28th November

They also have a face to face session booked in Durham on Friday 10th May - Please see attached poster for booking details!
You are all more than welcome to join these sessions, or alternatively if you were able to get a large number of organisations or colleagues together then they could look to do a face to face session or bespoke session on zoom just for your colleagues.
