Young, old, female or male – it affects us all.

This Bowel Cancer Awareness Month Bowel Cancer UK are shining a light on the varied and many people affected by bowel cancer. But it doesn’t just impact the person diagnosed. It affects families, friends and colleagues, doctors and nurses, scientists and researchers.

For further support locally you can visit your local Macmillan Cancer information centre which is based within Darlington Memorial Hospital!

We listen to what people like about services and what could be improved. We share their views with those with the power to make change happen.
