Food For Thought Darlington are becoming a charity! They’d love to hear from anyone who might be interested putting themselves forward as a trustee, particularly anyone who has a background / skills in accountancy, funding applications and project management. Please contact Louise for more information, either email fftdarlo@gmail.com Facebook message LouiseLouiseLouise or ring or text her on 07815947215.

They have started a new partnership with Corporation Road Primary School, with a longer-term aim of setting up a community café for parents. It will take a while to build up good rapport with parents and they are planning to start with a few shred cookery sessions resulting in a community meal.  If you would be interested in finding out more, or getting involved in this project, please ring/text Louise on the number provided above!

They are currently working with Cornerstone Arts to develop a Food For Thought hub in the M&S building. This is a very exciting opportunity and they are looking forward to contributing to the development of a thriving arts and community centre in the town. There is a lot of work involved in realising this vision, and they are looking for people who would like to help make it happen. Please get in touch if you would like to be involved.
