Your spotlight on local services

FRADE Darlington are looking for volunteers!

Do you live in Darlington and have a few hours to spare, then FRADE need you!

Why not volunteer and support your local community.

Just call Terry on 01325 357379 or visit their store just past the Odeon Cinema in Leadenhall Street, Darlington DL1 1RD.

FRADE, your local reuse charity, has come a long way since its foundation in 1990. There are 3 shops in Darlington, Stockton and Middlesbrough serving the Tees Valley community. The shops are open to the public Monday to Saturday and an extra discount of 25% is offered to those on the lowest income. The charity is self-funding and any surplus is ploughed back into the charity in the form of lower prices. Last year FRADE supported 11,028 households, provided 32 volunteer placements, and redirected 257 tonnes away from landfill.  So why not drop in and take a look.  If you have any ‘preloved’ furniture or bric a brac get in touch. They collect free of charge

What is Healthwatch Darlington?

Healthwatch Darlington is the independent champion for people using local health and social care services in the Darlington borough. We listen to what people like about services and what could be improved. We share their views with those with the power to make change happen. People can also speak to us to find information about health and social care services available locally.

Our sole purpose is to help make care better for people.
