Michelle Thompson BEM, Chief Executive Officer -
"Madi has been volunteering for us for 4 years now and she’s become an important member of the Healthwatch team especially for Youthwatch. Her friendly and warm nature has ensured that new young volunteers feel welcomed and assured that they have made the right decision to volunteer their time. She is creative and enthusiastic and her confidence has soared since joining us and this rubs off on all our team members. I’m so pleased to recognise Madi for her achievements, she’s a joy to be around and this award is so well deserved. Thank you Madi, you’re an absolute star!”
Jemma Austin, Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator -
"I have had the pleasure of knowing Madi for the past four years, but I've got to know Madi more recently in my role as a Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator. Madi has been developing some fantastic ideas for Youthwatch Darlington assisting to make these a reality, with her determination and 'can do" attitude. This has been noticed by the whole team at Healthwatch Darlington and recently her impressive ability to confidently take part in a radio interview with BBC Radio Tees. After all of her hard work and determination particularly during 2018, I am so pleased we have selected Madi to receive the recognition! Congratulations!"
