Healthwatch Darlington's Volunteer Recruitment Open Day (Volunteers Week 2019)


This years ‘Volunteer’s Week’ taking place from 1st June -  7th June 2019 is a fantastic opportunity for Healthwatch Darlington to pay a special thank you to all of our fantastic volunteers, to shout about our volunteering opportunities and to show case the fantastic contribution our volunteers make every day to service users, patients and their families living in Darlington.

Healthwatch Darlington will be holding a ‘Volunteer Recruitment Open Day’ on Wednesday 5th June 2019, 11:00am-3:00pm at our town centre office (Jubilee House, 1 Chancery Lane, Darlington, DL1 5QP). This is open to all members of the public to come along and to find out more about our exciting volunteering programmes and what we have on offer for new and potential volunteer applicants.

Healthwatch Darlington is the independent champion for people using local health and social care services in the Darlington borough. We listen to what people like about services and what could be improved. We share their views with those with the power to make change happen. People can also speak to us to find information about health and social care services available locally.
