Healthwatch Darlington's volunteers take part in 'Life Saving' training!

13/11/2019

Healthwatch Darlington's health connector volunteers along with three staff members completed a 'Life Saving' training session today. The session covered basic CPR, choking techniques, drowning and how to use a defibrillator.

The session will equip our team with knowledge to help save a life, which is especially important for our community outreach visits across Darlington.

The session was kindly delivered by Tom Ward from the Royal Life Saving Society UK.

If your community group or organisation is interested in finding out about these interactive session please contact Tom via Tom.Ward@darlington.gov.uk

Well done to our volunteers for taking the time to complete the training.
