Your spotlight on local services

Nepacs - FREE Hidden Sentence training Thursday 8th November 2018

Nepacs are offering free Hidden Sentence training for anyone working with children and families in the Darlington area.

Nepacs are a north east charity which supports prisoners’ families across the north east. They deliver a range of services to support children and families impacted by imprisonment at prisons, court and in the community. To help raise awareness of the needs of prisoners’ families and how agencies can support them they deliver Hidden Sentence training to professionals from health, local authorities, education, criminal justice and the voluntary sector. So far over 1,500 professionals across the north east have received the training including police, probation, local authority, education, health staff and community/voluntary workers.

They are delivering some Hidden Sentence training for Darlington Borough Council on Thursday 8 November 2018 in Darlington. This one day course is being held for professionals whose work in the community of Darlington Borough brings them into contact with families of prisoners, including health, education, local authority, police, probation or community/voluntary workers. The course is a full day, 9.30am to 4.30pm.

To book onto the training please e-mail workforce.trainingbookings@darlington.gov.uk  with your name, organisation name & address and job role.
