Your spotlight on local services

North East Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust AGM and Annual Members meeting

North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust’s combined Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Annual Members’ Meeting on 27 September 2018.

This is an important event in their calendar, enabling them to provide the public, their members, staff, Governors and valued stakeholders with their review of 2017/18. The event marks the formal presentation of the Annual Report and Accounts for 2017/18, including the Quality Report.

This year Alan Foster, the regional lead for the development of the Integrated Care System in the North East and Cumbria, will be delivering a keynote speech on the importance of integration and the benefits this can bring to patients.

They will also be showcasing a number of examples of positive and proactive collaborative working between the Trust and a number of partners, which have delivered improvements in patient care in the North East.

Foundation Trust members will be able to vote on a number of constitutional amendments which impact upon the role or power of the Governors.
