Youthwatch Member Recruitment - Opportunity for young people
07/08/2018
Youthwatch is a group made up of young people aged 14 - 25 years old living in Darlington. The group sits within Healthwatch Darlington but is led by young people and driven by the ideas of young people who want to make a difference to health and care services in Darlington for their age group. Young people have a voice when it comes to healthcare and young people have rights too.
Youthwatch are looking to expand and need new members. This would be the perfect opportunity for students or any young people who have just left school/college looking to get involved with something along side their studies in the new academic year or for some work experience providing students/young people with confidence and enhanced skills. It’s fun and gives young people an opportunity to make a difference in their local town.
There is plenty to get involved with from social media assistance, video blogging, creative design for posters /leaflets, project assistance and creating reports.
If you think this sounds like a great opportunity for a young person you know then please get in contact with Jemma via j.austin@healthwatchdarlingon.co.uk or call 01325 380145.
Please share this poster made by our Youthwatch members far and wide.
