Darlington Town Mission - New doorstep and garden visits and library home delivery service with Darlington libraries

Darlington Town Mission are conducting new doorstep and garden visits, to visit people who may feel isolated during the pandemic.

In these times when they can’t get their friends out on outings, particularly when we are all under so many restrictions to keep everyone safe, Darlington Town Mission Volunteers have recently started doing doorstep and garden visits to talk to people and help them feel less isolated in the community. To find out more about this and how you can get involved please visit the Darlington Town Mission Doorstep Visits page or call Sue on:

Not only that, but they are also working with Darlington libraries to promote the new library home delivery service where residents of Darlington, aged 60 and over, can now request a delivery of books to their home. The books will be selected based on your reading interests and will be delivered to your home every month. To enquire about this service, please ring Darlington Library on:
