Embrace - A free mini magazine

Throughout the pandemic Sarah Furness a Wellness Co-ordinator at Anchor care homes has been producing ‘Embrace’ – ‘a hug’ in the form of a mini magazine for their care home residents. She has now shared it so that other people can enjoy it.

The magazine includes sharing memories, brain teasers & a reason to smile.

Inpatient Information - Staying Active in Hospital

In an effort to combat inpatient deconditioning, physiotherapy teams in University Hospital North Durham, Darlington Memorial Hospital, and Bishop Auckland Hospital are distributing patient post cards with great information on ways to stay active during a stay in hospital.
