Darlington Mental Health Support Team (MHST) - Drop In Summer Sessions 2021

Tees, Esk & Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust - Darlington Mental Health Support Team will be delivering drop-in sessions for both parent carers and young people in the summer holidays.

The sessions will take place starting from next week at Whessoe Parish Hall offering parent carers a free 4 week course called ‘Helping your child with feelings of anxiety’ and young people sessions covering different topics such as low mood, self-esteem and anxiety.

Please note that young people under 16 years will need to bring one parent/carer with them.

The Darlington Mental Health Support Team (MHST) provide early intervention for children and young people (CYP) in schools who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties. They also work with staff within schools to help provide a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing and act as a link between schools and local CYP mental health services.
