Darlington Community Safety Partnership Plan

Residents and businesses across the borough are being urged to have their say on a proposed Darlington Community Safety Partnership Plan 2021-26.

Darlington Community Safety Partnership brings together a range of partners including the council, Police, health, probation, Police and Crime Commissioner, charitable and voluntary organisations and fire and rescue services, to help make Darlington a safe place in which to live and work.

The proposed plan covers the five-year period 2021-26 and has identified four key priorities:

  • Protecting and supporting people, especially those most at risk
  • Promoting safer places to create a safe, secure and vibrant town
  • Tackling violent crime, including domestic abuse
  • Building strong and cohesive communities

It will help develop and organise the partnership’s activities and projects to meet the needs of the public, ensuring they get the right resources in the right places at the right time to sustain reductions in crime and disorder.

You can view the Community Safety Partnership Plan and access the survey to share your views online at www.darlington.gov.uk/csp.

The deadline for comments is Friday 3rd September 2021.
