Do you have ongoing pain from your heart bypass surgery or know a person who does?

A research nurse from James Cook Hospital is researching pain from heart bypass surgery that lasted 3 months or more.

This could be pain from the chest or leg wound, or even into the back and shoulders. They would like to talk to people with or who have had this problem to help make sure the right questions are asked. This is called Public Patient Involvement and not the same as being in the research itself.

If you think you can help, would like to know more, or not sure if this might apply to you, please contact Karen Ainsworth for an informal chat, there is no commitment. Email karen.ainsworth1@nhs.net or call the Cardiac Research Department at James Cook Hospital 01642 282410.
