RSACC - The Keystone Project

The Keystone Project is a pilot designed and delivered by Rape & Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (RSACC) to support those with parental/caring responsibilities for children or young people (aged up to 18) who have experienced child sexual abuse.

It is a combination of 1:1 counselling sessions, and a series of 5 group sessions, the project is for those with parental/caring responsibilities for children or young people (aged up to 18) who have experienced child sexual abuse. It is open to anyone across Darlington and County Durham. The group sessions will take place in Durham, while the 1:1 sessions could be held in Darlington, Durham, or online.

The group work will explore responses to child sexual abuse, the challenges that we face, an understanding of trauma, as well as looking at some coping strategies.  1:1 counselling sessions will take place from 6th February 2023, and the weekly group sessions will run 10-12 each Friday from 10th March-14th April 2023 (excluding the bank holiday).
