Step into volunteering as an Independent Visitor with Nepacs

Nepacs have an exciting volunteering opportunity for anyone with a few hours to spare each month, interested in giving their time to support local children and young people who are living in care.

The Independent Visitor Project is a befriending scheme for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 17 years old. Provided by volunteers, the service is designed to offer each child the chance to build a trusted friendship with someone outside of their day-to-day life.

We currently have 46 children and young people across the north east waiting for a volunteer match – with volunteers needed across all areas of the north east.
