Bringing free Netball to our Community
They especially want to reach women (aged 16 +) who haven’t played before, or who haven’t played for a long time and people from more socially deprived communities.
If you think your organisation has this audience and can get women involved, then this can be a great offer for you.
You don’t need to be able to offer a full netball court, activity can be delivered in a smaller hall or hard surface outdoor space.
Together they have capacity to deliver a 6 – 8 week programme across 3 different sites. Coaching fees will be covered and there may be some funding for use of your hall or outdoor space.
The ultimate aim will be to create a sustained programme of netball activity or to signpost players to existing opportunities across Darlington.
