Mind the Gap: Integrative Approaches to Managing Long-Term Conditions

Do you live with or care for someone with a long-term condition and want your voice to be heard?

This FREE event taking place on Wednesday 25th October at Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield (with lunch provided) is the result of nearly 2 years work to demonstrate the value of lived experience in research projects and contribution to the body of knowledge.

The event is for people living with long-term/lifelong conditions, carers, practitioners, researchers and anyone who wants to discuss ways to enhance integrative, person-centred support for people living with long-term/lifelong conditions.

Funded by NIHR Applied Research Collaboration North East and North Cumbria, this event will be co-led by a group of people who live with long-term conditions and have worked as co-researchers in the development and evaluation of our self-management programme, MyLifeTool.

This would appeal to a range of NHS, VCS and social care professionals with an interest in understanding psychosocial principles of life managing a long term condition.
