Diabetes UK - become a 4Ts micro volunteer, plus new online training modules for non-specialist healthcare professionals

Diabetes UK have micro volunteering opportunities available as well as new online training modules available for non-specialist healthcare professionals.

Micro volunteering is perfect for busy people who’d like to get involved and help Diabetes UK, but don’t have much time to give.

By raising awareness of the symptoms of type 1 diabetes: Toilet, Thirsty, Tired, Thinner - the 4Ts - you could save the life of a child or young person.

New cpd e-learning modules are available, aiming to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills and confidence to enable them to have conversations about diabetes technology with people living with diabetes. Designed for non-specialist healthcare professionals, the module takes approximately 90 minutes to complete and can be completed in stages if you don’t have time to complete it all in one go.
