About Kooth

At Kooth.com, we offer free, anonymous, and safe mental health support for young people across the UK. We’ve been doing this for over 20 years, helping hundreds of thousands of young people with a huge range of issues, from stress , anxiety, to family relationships, and sleep. Our service is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

No problem is too big or small

Our mission is to offer timely and judgement-free mental health support for young people. Our site offers easy access to articles, mini activities and podcasts as well as the opportunity to share experiences with peers. Kooth is fully moderated, so completely safe. For young people who would like a one to one ‘chat’ session, we have a team of professional mental health practitioners ready to help. There are no waiting lists and no thresholds.

A place for free 1:1 support outside learning hours

Young people can request a chat - a text-based instant messaging session - with a Kooth mental health practitioner during the following hours:

· Weekdays: 12pm - 10pm

· Weekends: 6pm - 10pm

“I love that I can chat to someone in the evening if I can't get online during the day. I know there's always someone I can turn to and gain support from.”
