Youth Focus North East - Access Unlimited (March update)

Youth Focus North East have recently begun working on one of their training packages called Access Unlimited.

They facilitate this training on behalf of the Royal Society of Blind Children, and it is focused around how to work with young people with visual impairments.

This fully funded training course includes;

- 3 hours worth of teaching via Zoom or Face to Face sessions.

- The participants then have the option to gain an accreditation from SEG and receive a certificate.

They are currently offering this training online via zoom, and will be running both AM and PM sessions. If you could distribute this amongst your local contacts/organisations and any bulletins that you create that would be highly appreciated.

There is also the opportunity for them to come to you or your partner organisations to deliver this training face to face. If you have any dates in mind please let them know and they will see what they can offer - training@youthfocusne.org.uk.

They can take this training across England or host sessions via zoom. The main working day for this project will be a Thursday, but they have some flexibility to work on a Monday, Friday or Saturday depending on location and travel to and from the venue.

They still have spaces available on their March dates for the Access Unlimited training programme.

  • Thursday 21st March - 10:30am till 1:30pm
