The programme has launched a series of monthly webinars, hosted by the Northern Housing Consortium, for people working across health, housing and care to learn, share best practice and design solutions together.
Join us for Housing, health & care prevention models to age well webinar on Tuesday 17 June, from 10-12 online.
The webinar will focus on how health and housing sectors can work together to support older people maintain their independence and quality of life by engaging with a range of prevention services.
The number of older people living in the region is expected to grow dramatically over the next 10 years, so supporting individuals to remain healthy and independent has never been more important. During the webinar experts will share innovative strategies and real-world examples of successful collaborations.

Themes that will be explored include:
• The role of housing in promoting health and wellbeing for older adults
• How Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) and Home Improvement Agencies (HIAs) support independence
• Integrated care models: health and housing services working together
• Prevention models for ageing
• Use of technology to remain independent.
