Darlington Association on Disability (DAD) - Travel Training Course

Darlington Association on Disability (DAD) are running a new Travel Training Course - design to help people living with disabilities navigate public transport etc, effectively.

This course will run once a week across the next 18 months and allow people living with disabilities the chance to learn how to become more confident using public transport and develop the confidence to plan their own journeys in future.

They are also currently recruiting Volunteer Travel Buddies to support the project. This role involves helping people with a disability to build confidence and independence when using public transport, including accompanying them on local journeys, planning routes, and encouraging safe and confident travel.
