Celebrate communication with a free Makaton session
People across Stockton-on-Tees are invited to take part in a special Makaton session this April, designed to help children and adults communicate with confidence.
The free event will take place on Thursday 2 April, from 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm, at Billingham Library.
Makaton is a language programme that uses signs and symbols alongside speech. It is widely used to support people with communication difficulties, helping reduce frustration, build understanding, and strengthen family bonds.
