Free physical activity sessions for young people from Daisy Chain

Thanks to funding from Point North, Daisy Chain are excited to offer a range of free physical activity sessions designed to support the health, wellbeing and resilience of young people.

These sessions aim to support the health, wellbeing, and resilience of young people by:

  • Improving physical and mental wellbeing
  • Building confidence and individual resilience
  • Strengthening community connections

Activities on Offer 

Gymnastics Sessions

  • Venue: Darlington Gymnastics Centre
  • Age: 12–17
  • Time: 1:30pm–3:30pm
  • Dates: Monday 13th April, Tuesday 14th April & Wednesday 15th April
  • Attendance: Young people must be able to attend all three sessions
  • Activities will be led by a qualified gymnastics coach and supported by Daisy Chain staff

Racquet Sports Sessions

  • Venue: Dolphin Centre
  • Age: 12–17
  • Time: 1:00pm–2:00pm
  • Dates: Monday 13th April, Tuesday 14th April & Wednesday 15th April
  • Attendance: Young people must be able to attend all three sessions
  • Activities include table tennis, pickleball, and badminton

After School Club

  • Venue: Hope Town, Darlington
  • Age: 8–11
  • Time: 3:45pm–5:30pm
  • Dates: 8th April, 15th April, 22nd April, 29th April, 6th May, 13th May & 20th May
  • Attendance: Young people must be able to attend all seven sessions
  • Sessions will focus on confidence building, social skills, and making new friends
