Health Passport Awareness Training – 18 June

As part of Learning Disability Week 2026 in June, this Health Passport Awareness Training session is designed for anyone working in health, education, and social care – as well as family members and carers.

The training will explore how Health Passports, formerly known as Hospital Passports, can help identify a person’s health and support needs, communication preferences, and reasonable adjustments. Participants will learn how to use these passports to reduce inequalities and ensure care that truly meets individual needs.

This interactive 90-minute session will build your understanding of Health Passports (formerly Hospital Passports) and how they support people with a learning disability and autistic people to receive personalised, accessible healthcare.

You’ll learn how Health Passports help capture key information such as communication needs, preferences, and reasonable adjustments to improve care experiences.
