New Mental Health Service Young Women age 16-25 & associated webinar

Leo's are delighted to announce the launch of Her Journey, a specialist trauma-informed support service from Leo's Neonatal & Baby Loss Charity, delivered through the Pilgrim Trust Young Women in Mind Programme.

The following is from Leo's Neonatal & Baby Loss Charity.

Building on Leo's years of supporting families across Teesside affected by neonatal care and loss, Her Journey provides dedicated support for young women aged 16 to 25 who have experienced:

· Pregnancy loss, including miscarriage and Termination for Medical Reasons (TFMR)

· Baby loss, including stillbirth and neonatal loss

· A neonatal (NICU) stay

· Termination of pregnancy

· A current high-risk pregnancy following a previous loss

Support includes lived experience peer support, trauma-informed counselling, therapeutic interventions where appropriate, and group-based support (currently in development). The service is available to young women living in Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool and Darlington.

As Her Journey is funded through the Young Women in Mind Programme, referrals must meet the eligibility criteria relating to age and presenting experience. If you are unsure whether someone is suitable, please contact us before referring and we will be happy to advise. Further information and referral pathways are on our website: leosneonatal.org

Q&A Webinar, Wednesday 8th July, 12:00pm

Join us to learn more about Her Journey, explore the referral criteria and pathways, and ask any questions about suitability and support. Registration is required:
