Supporting Those Who Care for Others

Health and wellbeing are essential for everyone, especially those working or volunteering in health, social care and the voluntary sector. That's why colleagues across the region are invited to join an informative online session on Wednesday 19 August at 1.00pm to learn more about the support available through the North East and North Cumbria Staff Health and Wellbeing Hub.

The session will feature Dr Richard Duggins, Consultant Psychiatrist in Medical Psychotherapy, who serves as Associate Medical Director and Clinical Lead for the Staff Health and Wellbeing Hub. Dr Duggins will explain the range of services available to support the mental health and wellbeing of staff and volunteers working across health, social care and the voluntary sector.

He will be joined by colleagues who deliver health and wellbeing services accessed through the Hub, providing an opportunity to learn more about the practical support available and how to access it.

Whether you're employed in health or social care, work for a voluntary organisation or give your time as a volunteer, this session is an excellent opportunity to discover resources designed to help you stay healthy, resilient and supported in your role.
