Stop Loan Sharks Project - support for loan shark victims
COVID-19 has presented people with some significant challenges in their daily lives, especially financially. We are all aware that loan sharks may look to take advantage of those who have found themselves in a vulnerable position and feel they have nowhere else to turn for help.
That's where the loan shark project aims to help! They are committed to helping victims of illegal money lending and providing support that is immediate, practical and tailored to their needs.
To make it much easier for people to access their service they have now introduced a new online chat service to provide extra advice and support to victims of illegal money lending.
The new service will initially be open between 9am and 5pm every Tuesday at www.stoploansharks.co.uk. When you click on the Live Chat icon, you will begin a one-on-one session with an expert support worker from the IMLT.
