Youthwatch Darlington launch new awareness raising project

Our young volunteers launch 'Worried about the future: What can I do and where can I go for help?' awareness raising project to help young people in Darlington who may be worrying about their future during these uncertain times.
Young people

We are all worried about the future. For young people the future may feel more uncertain and this may have left young people feeling more anxious than usual. Our young volunteers have designed a package of awareness raising resources that can be shared with families and young people.

We are encouraging schools, colleges and any organisations who work with young people to share these resources so they can hear honest experiences from young people in our interactive podcasts, get help from our poster which contains self help tips and information about services, read tips from local education professionals or read a honest blog from a young person perspective.

It's important young people don't feel alone during these uncertain times and we hope that these resources will help young people in Darlington by offering inspirational ideas and reassurance.

Thank you to Youthwatch Darlington's volunteers Amy, Jade, Jessica and Emily for all of your hard work in making this happen.
