Information about the coronavirus vaccine

Diabetes UK know that this is a worrying time and that lots of people are asking questions about the coronavirus vaccines and what it means for them. You can find out what they know about the coronavirus vaccines, including how they work and when they will be available for people with diabetes on their website here: www.diabetes.org.uk/about_us/news/coronavirus-vaccines

They will be regularly updating this information to make sure it is current. If you have diabetes, they strongly encourage you to get the coronavirus vaccine and take whichever vaccine you're offered. This is because people with diabetes are vulnerable to developing a severe illness if they do get coronavirus, and vaccines are the most effective way to prevent that from happening.
