Important Vaccination Update – Moving to cohort 4 CEV (Clinically Extremely Vulnerable)

Darlington Primary Care Network share an update about the vaccine for those who are shielding and remind people that they can choose to have their vaccine locally.

CEV (Clinically Extremely Vulnerable)

Those who are shielding will start to get letters from NHS ENGLAND inviting them to make an appointment at the mass vaccination centre & community pharmacies. However, they do have a choice.

If people prefer to be vaccinated locally, your GP practice will be sending invites out to those shielding/clinically extremely vulnerable in due course. You will then be able to access the Darlington Primary Care Network online booking system for Feethams House in Darlington. Please DO NOT call your GP practice, they will be in touch with you.

OVER 70s

All over 70s will be getting texts to invite them to make an appointment at Feethams House. Appointments have been released today and more will be released tomorrow. The local appointment booking link is: darlington.nhsvaccinations.co.uk

If there are appointments available, you will see them online. If there are no appointments displayed, it’s because the available slots are already booked or not yet released. They can only add new appointments when they receive a new batch of vaccines.

There are still people in cohort 1-3 who are still needing a vaccination and no one will be missed. Please DO NOT call your GP practice, they will be in touch with you.
