Suicide Prevention Resource Tins

Healthwatch Darlington is acting as the lead suicide prevention tin coordinator for the Borough of Darlington on behalf of the North East & North Cumbria Suicide Prevention Network.
Suicide Prevention tins

We know suicide can be prevented so these tins will help venues in Darlington giving staff members the information and resources they need to support others.

The tins contain helpful information, emergency helplines, access to training and leaflets. The tins are delivered with hand sanitiser and wipes.

The first two venues to receive a tin were Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College  (Vice Principal Merion Baker received their tin - pictured above) and Blacketts Medical Practice  (Practice Manager Jayne Turner (R) and Sara Wilson (L), Healthcare Assistant received their tin - pictured below)
