Adaptation Study for new health app - Hear me Now

Can you help Newcastle University to adapt a health app for people living with dementia?

Hear Me Now is a health app for smartphones and tablets. It might help people with mild or moderate dementia with some of their daily activities.

A team at Northumbria University would like to talk to people with mild or moderate dementia and their carers, to find out whether Hear Me Now could be adapted to meet their needs.

They would show you how Hear Me Now works.

They would ask about any problems in daily life where a health app could be useful – appointments and reminders for example.

They would also ask about any apps for smartphones or tablets you might already be using (what they are, are they easy to use, how do they help?).

The discussion would probably last for around 45 minutes and it could be done online or face to face.

If you are living with dementia or are a carer for someone with dementia, they would be pleased to hear from you.
