Dementia Friendly Memory Lane Activity Cafe
The team at Home Instead with the Salvation Army are hosting Dementia Friendly Memory Lane Activity Cafes on the third Thursday of every month from 10.30am – 12.30pm.
First, they are excited to be having a bakery demonstration from “Shape Patisserie” on Thursday 21 August – something quite different - taking place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Thompson Street East, Darlington, DL1 3EW.
In September they will be hosting Armchair Exercises and more - also at The Salvation Army Citadel.
In October they are having an afternoon of swing with a buffet and live music from “The Vintage Singer” – at St.Augustine's Parish Centre (please note change of venue). This event is funded from the Dementia’s Got Talent funding.
It's open to those living with dementia or memory problems accompanied by their loved one/carer.
