Tees Valley Combined Authority - Overcoming Transport Barriers to Employment, Education and Training

Researchers from Teesside University, working on behalf of TVCA, are looking into the transport difficulties people experience when getting to and from work, education, and training. The research aims to understand how these barriers can be removed so more people can access opportunities.

Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) has asked Teesside University to undertake a study to identify what the main transport barriers are accessing work, training or education across Tees Valley. This includes urban, rural and coastal communities.

Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) have launched a webpage around Overcoming Transport Barriers to Employment, Education and Training in Tees Valley study.

The webpage contains the online survey link and a more detailed explanation of the aims and objectives of the study: Views Sought on Your Experience of Our Transport Network - Tees Valley

The survey is open to anyone living in Tees Valley, aged 16 to 68, currently employed or looking for work, wanting to develop their skills or access educational opportunities. This includes the boroughs of Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Hartlepool.
