Leo's Neonatal

Peer support is just one very successful part of a new robust service which has been created directly from parent needs in response to COVID-19 by Leo's Neonatal.

Speaking to someone who has been on a neonatal unit, can really help you work through any worries, fears, hopes and dreams you have after you have gave birth.

Leo's Neonatal have a core team of peer support parents who have all had various experiences on neonatal units in our region.

Their mission is to ensure that any family who needs to talk about their journey has access to one of their team. Whether it's a weekly phone call, emails or a Zoom call, their team are around to give families the support they need.

If you are a family on a neonatal currently in either The James Cook University Hospital, Sunderland Royal Hospital, The University Hospital of North Durham, or Darlington Memorial Hospital,
